When sitting down to choose our wedding photographer, we tried to think of all the qualities we would want to find in this individual, since they were ultimately going to capture the best day of our lives. Creativity, imagination, great people skills, an eye for detail, patience and passion all sprang to mind as must-haves. And all of these bar-none were exactly what we got with Simon.

Right from the word-go, we could tell that Simon was invested in us as a couple and not just following mundane procedure. Despite obviously being a photographer for many many couples on their big day over the years, his enthusiasm was unwavering and everything felt fresh and exciting, both in the build-up to the main event and on the day itself.

He struck the perfect balance between keeping us relaxed and enjoying ourselves, whilst providing clear and simple instructions as to what he wanted, where we were due to go next etc. Nothing felt awkward or forced and there was plenty of laughter and banter had by all!

Simon’s ability to spot unique and unusual photo opportunities is unparalleled; you can see him always on the lookout for a rare and unusual shot and there were so many that took us (pleasantly!) by surprise and wondered how he even snapped them in that moment! His photography is super sleek and stylish, yet still manages to capture heartfelt emotion and joy – it honestly was one of the hardest tasks ever to try and cut down the library of photos into the 80 required for our album!!

Simon thank you so so much for capturing the pure magic and happiness of our wedding day; be rest assured that the album will be making highly regular appearances in the Erni household! As you know, we put so much effort into the organisation and planning, and so to see it and all the tiny details captured in all their glory and immortalised forever in such a beautiful way makes us really emotional and we can’t thank you enough!

Simon was absolutely outstanding and I couldn’t recommend or praise him enough. He was a real calming influence to us on our day and the little rain shower didn’t deter him at all. He knew all of the good spots to go to around the grounds at certain times for the lighting and effect he was looking for. Every one of our family and friends commented on how well he blended into our day and what a fantastic job he did for us. He put us both at ease and we have some amazing photos of our special day.

We were so happy with our choice of photographer for our wedding. When we met Simon he was so welcoming and passionate about his work it made our decision so much easier. We knew instanly that Simon had to be our photographer, combinded with his welcoming nature and knowledge of the venue we booked him without hesitation. Simon made us feel relaxed from our first meeting. He went through what we wanted and how he did things to ensure we were happy with his work and style. He had a full portfolio of different types of weddings so we could be sure he matched our personal taste. He also asked us questions and told us about himself so that we felt genuinely relaxed. We trusted him completely to deliver a great result, which is exactly what he did. Having spoken to several photographers beforehand, we were so relieved to find Simon as he asked us what we wanted, rather than pushing his own views onto us. He worked with us and came up with a plan with us for the day so that we had no doubts about booking him. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone and even did so before our own wedding as we were so confident in his skills, ability and finished product.

Simon is an amazing photographer! All our guests commented on how you didn’t notice him at all and so didn’t distract them from the special moments yet he captured everything amazingly. He is so friendly and lovely to have as part of your special day. From start to finish he was professional, approachable, friendly and like part of the wedding party. Best photographer I’ve ever come across.

Simon (from BeUnveiled) was the epitome of professionalism, but with a wonderful, friendly approach that made you feel you had known him for years. We felt completely at ease the whole day, from when he was taking photos in the bridal preparation room, to the whole gathering outside. He knew the venue so well, that he knew the best times of day to get the best photos in specific surroundings. He went beyond the call of duty, and stayed on late to get us beautiful pictures after sunset.

Neither my husband nor I like photographs of us being taken nor do we usually like the end results. That was until we met Simon. He is an amazing photographer, unlike most weddings we have been to, he managed to create fantastic natural shots in half the time of others so we could enjoy our day. The results are better than we could have ever imagined. My only criticism is how difficult it was to pick the photographs for the album – unless we can have all 550 it was an amazingly hard choice!

Simon is a very professional photographer. He has such an amazing talent for capturing those moments which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. It’s not the formal photos that remind you how great your day was; it’s the natural fun and excitement that is so important to be documented. He is able to blend in so well with guests that you never noticed him capturing pictures. Simon created some stunning shots that take us back to the day each time we look at them.

You were so brilliant and made our day so special – we’ll recommend you to all our friends so do hope our paths cross again in the future!
