ABOUT ME

I am a full-time wedding photographer with an honest and unobtrusive approach. Based in Dorking, Surrey, here’s how I got to doing what I love …

Back in the day, having completed my photography studies at Richmond College, I was lucky enough to land the job of a Press Photographer for David Dimbleby (The Dimbleby Newspaper Group in Richmond) covering much of the Surrey and South West London areas. Photographing stories and people meant I often had only one chance to capture those decisive, one-off moments using the fly-on-the-wall approach needed for the fast-paced world of photojournalism.

I went on to photograph the rich and famous, events, architecture, children, fast cars and more. Then, 5 years in, I took 400 days out to travel overland across 30 countries; my trusty Leica M6 never leaving my side throughout North to South overland of the epic African continent and much of South East Asia.

On returning to England I picked up where I left off with regular contributions to The Daily Telegraph and The Times, as well as corporate shoots for clients including Audi, NHS, Reed, OCS, TVH, Cemex and Caterham Cars, and many more.

Then, friends began to get married and each year I found myself being asked to shoot more and more weddings, which I grew increasingly passionate about. Today, I feel privileged to call it my full-time job and am honoured to be able to provide an everlasting, intimate portrayal of a couple’s special day. I now cap my wedding bookings at 30 per year.

I adopt a candid approach to wedding photography, capturing your day as it unfolds through a collection of decisive moments and documentary-style images, combined with beautiful formal and organised shots. I pride myself on my professionalism, my ability to blend into the background (you’ll hardly know I’m there) and of course, on results that I’m confident you’ll treasure forever.

I have also been awarded ‘Regional Finalist – Photographer of The Year’ in London and the South East, thanks to my amazing clients and The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA). Of course, between me and you, my real awards have always been quite simply happy, and super satisfied, clients.

Following the all important post-production edit, your fab photography will be available to view online for five months in the password-protected Your Galleries section of this website. Your guests can also order prints online here and download high-res images. Your Hi-res shots will be sent to you via WeTransferPro.
